  Just spent an excellent weekend at the Fishermans Return. So friendly, lovely to have dogs welcomed so readily. The meals were excellent but also large, next time I would have starter and desert or just main course. Our meals were delicious.

  very good! dog friendly, good beer and good, basic pub food (though a little pricey). ignore the hideous new sign outside - the inside is still the same and luckily has NOT been refurbished!

  Dreadful meal, ordered the 10 oz gammon advertised as a big feast, with chips pineapple and salad. Gammon was as thin as bacon and very dry and tasteless and I'm sure the chips were recooked earlier as well.
  Had been to this pub 2 years before and it was fab, that's why we went back this time, but unfortunately it's the last time we will go in there again. Very expensive for the Dreadful meals, and £ 18 for a cheap bottle of wine is pushing the fisherman's boat out to far from reality.
